The All In One Cable from Simon Kueppers is a cheap and hackable digital mode USB interface, similar to Digirig or Mobilinkd, but pocket sized and ready for the field. Use it for APRS, Winlink, programming, or any other sound card data mode.

Compatible with every HT that uses the Kenwood K-Style connector, including the UV-5R, UV-K5, Kenwood TK radios, and more. The serial interface enumerates as a regular COM port on Windows or ttyACM on Linux, so programming with CHIRP is a plug and go.
